Holderness Painting/Video Workshop

These two videos were created at Holderness School, N.H. The theme of this “Artward Bound” program was “Culture of Creativity”. They walked away from this class asking questions about process, the deeper meaning of art and the importance of art in today society. I hope you enjoy watching the videos as much as we enjoyed creating them.

Moving Forward Ed Intern Art Training Workshops

Today I helped a group of High School Interns learn fun and creative ways to reuse the Method Soap bottles that were donated to the program. Each vase contains collages of images that represent something personal to them. They will be applying the same idea into the after school programs in the Bay Area. I was very impressed with the outcome of each of the intern’s vases. Each one was colorful and different. They all took risks and expressed themselves threw the power of art.

The Quote of the day was:

“Imagination is the beginning of creation. You imagine what you desire, you will what you imagine and at last you create what you will.”

-George Bernard Shaw
