Marlene White

Marlene White is an interdisciplinary artist from Oakland, California. She incorporates performance, time based mediums and the act of painting into her artistic practice. Her interweaving of various art forms has proven to her that painting is more than an object to hang on a wall. Painting itself is a living evolving entity.

Marlene White has a BFA from the California College of Arts and an MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts from Godddard College in Vermont.
